Course overview
The NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Team Leading is a nationally recognised qualification for anyone stepping into leadership or already supervising a team. It builds practical knowledge of how to lead people well: communicating clearly, motivating a team, managing performance and handling conflict with confidence.
There is no work placement or real work environment required. Everything is studied and assessed online, so you can build your leadership knowledge alongside your current job or other commitments.

What you will learn

How you are assessed
You build a portfolio of written evidence against each unit's learning outcomes. A qualified assessor reviews your work and provides feedback within 7 days of submission, and internal quality assurance keeps every assessment decision fair and consistent. Work is graded achieved or not yet achieved rather than by exam, so there is no test to sit and no fixed deadline pressure beyond your agreed submission schedule.

Do I need any previous qualifications to start?
