Course Overview
The Pregnancy Massage One Day Short Course at Cedars Training Academy is designed to equip qualified massage therapists with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely and effectively work with pregnant clients.
Pregnancy massage is a highly beneficial treatment that can help relieve the everyday physical and emotional stresses pregnancy places on the body. This course focuses on supporting the expectant mother through relaxation, improved breathing coordination, and increased confidence in her body’s natural abilities.
In turn, pregnancy massage can help promote bonding and closeness between mother and baby, while enabling the therapist to better understand the physiological changes of pregnancy. You will learn how to proactively relieve aches and pains and promote deep relaxation using a combination of Swedish massage and Shiatsu techniques.

Continual assessment takes place throughout the programme to evaluate practical skills and knowledge gained. All assessments are conducted in line with FHT expectations and professional standards.
Qualification Attained
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be awarded an FHT Certificate in Pregnancy Massage.
